Designed to assist in the removal and installation of tapered shaft propeller hubs on small Continental engines, such as the A-65. Crafted from chrome-plated tool steel with a 1/2-inch drive for torquing the hub post-installation. Includes a 5/8-inch pin for attaching to the hub. Designed with a lip to also function as a persuading tool for loosening stubborn hubs.

Q: What engine(s) does this tool fit?
A: This tool is designed for small Continental engines with a tapered shaft, such as the A-65 and C-85. If you are unsure about your engine, feel free to send us an email and ask! :)


Q: What are the measurements of this tool?
A: The installation side of the tool is 1.52'' in diameter, the overall length is approximately 2", and the holder pin is ~5/8" in diameter.


Q: How much does this tool weigh?
A: The tool itself weighs about 370g, the pin weighs about 140g, and the total shipping weight with packaging is about 600g.


Q: What material is this tool made from?
A: The main tool is made from chrome-plated tool steel, and the pin is a grade 12.9 clevis pin.


Q: Is the pin in the photo included?
A: Yes, this tool comes with a ~5/8" grade 12.9 clevis pin and a cotter pin, as shown in the photos. Unless you would like to opt out and save on shipping fees.


Q: I have one of these tools, but it didn’t come with a pin. Why?
A: We sold the first batch of this tool at an introductory price on social media and received great feedback. Taking our customers' suggestions seriously, we decided to add a pin and cotter pin to the package.


Q: Can I order just the pin?
A: Yes, let us know in the "Order Note" section of the order form, and we will arrange one for you. A separate pin and cotter pin set is priced at US$10, with shipping fees excluded.
